> Heron Solstice, the last prince of Alpenglow is being hunted down by a tyrannical empire, all to end the reign of his bloodline. Never trained to fight back, he runs away from his kingdom disguising as a commoner, training to become the best fighter as he hides away from a fierce warrior who swears to take him down, Dulcet Plumehart. Dulcet seems to only seek bloodshed, but is oddly amused by Heron's endless shortfalls and stubborn dedication upon every encounter. Charmed even. Meanwhile, Heron is distracted by the sight of Dulcet's oddly familiar eyes.
