✧ this section is to keep track of current story developments

✧ > overview: funnily enough SF was birthed from me feeling lost abt TEF's dev back in like 2020 or so, and supposedly should've gotten a lot more updates over the years seeing as the concept is actually extremely solid, I've always wanted a medieval setting to explore my own ver of high fantasy that takes place in universe though after I figured out TEF this story just ended up collecting dust in the bg lmao, there's still mild devs here and there and I very much still occasionally brainrot abt it, thou unfortunately so many chars are underdeveloped so far even if they've existed for a long time, that's the main shit I'm probs gonna tackle when I further develop this story eventually

at least the playlist is done (bonus fun fact: this is the first story I've ever made a playlist for back in 2020 or so, I used to make playlists based on the timeline events instead of the individual stories so the vibes used to be rlly disconnected, and my first attempt at a story based playlist wasn't any good either lmao, it wasn't until like 2022 where it started getting more refined after I've started making more esp for the individual chars)

ngl I've been stuck in TEF & POE hell for the past couple years, in fact I didn't even start further developing other stories aside from the main two not until 2024 or so even if they've always existed as concepts, ig there has been efforts to solidify some of the chars (esp aside from Heron and Dulcet these two are stupidly overdeveloped in comparison lol cuz the entire story is hinged on their bond altogether, that said they're also my first attempt at making two chars thematically represent the story in parallel, in which this same writing style can be found pretty much across all my stories atp lmao)

✧ > latest development: not much actually lmaooo, even rn idk who exactly is the main cast side from the main two cuz the others are just severely one dimensional as of now, even if this story is intended to be quite dark and complex in nature that I've always considered it as honourary main story (thou the way I'm categorizing my stories rn is also due for a revamp soon), that said at least I do know what the chars roles are after updating them mildly a while back (Lychee specializing in fruit aroma magic and her materials are at risk of taken away by the empire, Gyoza being a cartographer that helps Lychee to find underground hideouts, Jay being a thief on the run that gambles in taverns for a living, Cayenne being a possibly illegal token specialist that breaks Jay out of jail on occasion lmao)

all these chars are purposefully written to be somewhat low profiled outcasts to contrast Heron being a runaway prince that is experiencing life as a commoner for the first time esp under the Eclipsis Empire reign, he always knew life outside the kingdom walls was tough having heard abt it all from Tang, but getting to be involved w it first hand is what truly solidifies his goal to overthrow the empire that is trying to kill him in the first place, he knows so well that he is the only one that can give them all a better chance at life once he is officially crowned king in an era of peace

✧ start working on the individual char playlists, Dulcet's alrdy in the works for a while now tbh, Heron needs one soon ffs he's the actual main char lmao

✧ start drafting the chapters outline possibly, there are quite a few solid plot points that I always had in my head that I've never actually wrote down tbh
